Sarah Johnson
My name is Sarah Johnson and I am one of the three infant teachers at LHC4kids.
I grew up in Cambridge, MN. I am the oldest of 5 children, so I have always been around kids. By the time I graduated from high school, I was working in a child care center and loving it.
Because I graduated not really sure of what I wanted to do and because my parents, as well as other relatives had gone to CBC, I went as well. CBC is a one year school of discipleship that stands for Covenant Bible College. Once I graduated from there, I returned home to Cambridge and attended the community college for a year. While home, I worked in another child care center and then at a middle school as a teaching assistant. From there I headed to the “Windy City” to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Youth Ministry and North Park University.
I graduated and spent one year as a live in nanny for 4 kids in Stillwater and then a little over a year as a teacher in the toddler at a Montessori School in Plymouth. While there I got engaged and then married to my long – time boyfriend Geoff.
In November of 2006 I left the Montessori School and came to Lake Harriet. It’s been a wonderful change and I feel great about being here!

I grew up and lived most of my life in Minneapolis. I graduated from the College of St. Catherine with a major in Elementary Education and a Social Science concentration. My husband, Pete and I are busy raising three boys: Dylan - 8, Colin - 6, and P.J. - 3. My interests include religious studies, reading and gardening. My favorite past-times are watching Lost, listening to a variety if music and spending time with my family.
